Finishing gives your print character.

Paper for the way it is used

Compare smooth or uncoated, white or natural-looking, lightweight or substantial stock. Writability, feel and colour reproduction matter. We review recycled options for each product.

Protection and accents

Matte, gloss or soft-touch lamination, a gloss accent or foil can change the appearance. Not every combination suits every product; we agree the specification first.

Folding, binding and personalisation

A fold, staple, perfect-bound spine or wire-o changes how the item is used. Rounded corners, custom shapes and variable information can also be discussed where the product allows.

Frequently asked questions about printed materials.

Who do you supply printed materials for?

For business customers and organisations, including sole traders, SMEs, hospitality, retailers, schools, clubs and events. We match product, specification and quantity to the purpose.

What is the minimum order quantity?

It varies by product, printing method, material and finish. Share the quantities and any versions you need; we confirm the options and minimum quantities in advance.

Can you prepare the design?

Yes, we can help with layout and design or prepare supplied artwork for print. The work is included in the proposal. You approve the artwork before production.

Which papers and finishes are available?

It depends on the product. Options include smooth or uncoated stock, different weights, natural-looking or recycled papers and finishes such as lamination, gloss accents or foil. We review the combination for your enquiry.

Which binding should I choose for a brochure?

Stapling can suit a thinner booklet. A perfect-bound spine gives a book-like appearance; wire-o helps a document lie open. Page count, paper and use determine what is suitable.

Can the printed items be personalised?

Variable information, numbering or different versions can be discussed for suitable products. Supply a clear brief and data file. We check feasibility and preparation in advance.

How should I supply the files?

Preferably as a print-ready PDF at the correct finished size. Bleed, safe margins, colour settings and specialist layers depend on the selected product. Include the source file if changes are needed.

What does it cost and when will it be ready?

Product, size, paper, quantity, finishing and design work determine price and schedule. Mention a fixed date from the start. You receive a quotation specifying the product and delivery arrangements.
