We assess the surface and coordinate size and placement on the sail. You receive a design proposal before production.

After approval, we produce the graphics. Used sails must first be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water and supplied completely dry.

We coordinate delivery and application with you and apply the graphics carefully. We provide no guarantee for the adhesive strength of stickers on used sails.

Suitable sails and preparation requirements
Assess the material first
We apply graphics to Dacron sails and suitable technical sails, including 3DL, 3Di and carbon or aramid laminates. Film sails such as Mylar and monofilm, and X-Ply windsurf sails, may also be suitable. The outer surface, finish and condition determine suitability.
Spinnaker cloth excluded
We do not apply stickers to spinnaker cloth. Graphics on this cloth require painting, which we do not offer. This also applies to gennakers made from the same type of cloth.
Used sails: salt-free and dry
Used sails must be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water beforehand to remove salt residue and supplied completely dry. We provide no guarantee for the adhesive strength of stickers on used sails.

Questions about sail graphics
Which sails can you apply graphics to?
Dacron and suitable technical sails, including 3DL, 3Di and carbon or aramid laminates. Mylar, monofilm and X-Ply sails may also be suitable. We assess the outer surface, finish and condition beforehand; the material name alone does not establish adhesion.
Can you apply stickers to spinnakers or gennakers?
We do not apply stickers to spinnaker cloth. Graphics on this cloth require painting, which we do not offer. Gennakers made from the same type of cloth are also excluded.
Can you apply graphics to a used sail?
Only if it has first been thoroughly rinsed with fresh water, is free of salt residue and is supplied completely dry. We assess its condition. We provide no guarantee for the adhesive strength of stickers on used sails.
Do I need to clean the sail first?
Yes. Used sails must be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water and allowed to dry completely. If you are unsure about contamination, a coating or a previous treatment, tell us beforehand so we can discuss preparation.
Can you apply graphics to windsurf sails?
Yes, if the material and outer surface are suitable. Send overview and close-up photographs and specify the make, model and material so we can assess suitable panels.
How much do sail graphics cost?
The cost depends on size, design, number of sails, material and application. Send photographs, dimensions, logos and information about the sail’s condition for a suitable quotation.
