Refurbished Visgilde interior with counter lettering and a fishing boat wall graphic

Shop restyling

Restyling Visgilde at Nieuwe Markt, Roosendaal

BlinkOut transformed this Visgilde shop completely, inside and out.

The client gave us considerable creative freedom in the specification and materials. The brief was clear: give the shop a modern, contemporary and recognisable appearance. Combining different signage solutions, we visually refreshed the entire shop concept.

Advice, production and installation

Our role in this project

Advice
Together with Visgilde, we identified which parts of the shop needed a new look. Existing blue and orange colours made way for calm grey, black and concrete tones. We reused existing elements wherever possible to make the most of the available budget.

Production
BlinkOut produced and processed all the signage in-house. We cut films, printed full-colour stickers and banners, and finished lightbox panels with film and raised Acrylox logos.

Installation
Our own installers handled the entire installation, starting extra early to minimise disruption to customers.

Project elements

Toilet doors
The four doors were wrapped in matt black film. The outer doors received male and female fish figures in gloss dark grey: recognisable symbols with a playful reference to the fishmonger's.

Tiles and tables
The orange tiles were covered with opaque dark grey and concrete-effect film. The tabletops also received concrete-effect film, giving them the appearance of real concrete.

Wall graphic
A large tiled wall received an impressive black-and-white image of a fishing vessel.

Counter and display cabinet
The blue and orange counter elements were finished in matt black and concrete-effect film. A three-dimensional Visgilde logo made from 8 millimetre Acrylox was placed in the centre. The display cabinet was also fully restyled, gaining a modern concrete appearance and a visually floating effect.

Back wall
The old snap frames were replaced with matt black panels featuring bread baskets, special offers, a digital signage screen and a Visgilde Acrylox logo.

Post and posters
An existing blue snap frame was wrapped in matt black. The colourful poster was replaced with a stylish black-and-white image of anchovies.

Lightboxes
The blue lightboxes were refinished in black with new opal panels, Acrylox letters and logos. An additional cut-out outline makes the elements glow more prominently after dark.

Banner and window graphics
The existing banner frame was reused with a new large-format banner. At the side of the shop, we installed a full-colour window image of a fishing boat, with the sea continuing across the neighbouring pane.

This combination of wrapping, window stickers, wall graphics, illuminated signage and three-dimensional logos gave Visgilde a modern, cohesive shop appearance.
