Luminaid: a distinctive van wrap with a lighting motif

A striking van wrap inspired by the brand’s lighting identity

A purple and blue wrap with a light-inspired graphic makes Luminaid’s Fiat Scudo recognisable from its sides to its rear doors.

The story behind this project

A lighting brand with a presence on the road

Luminaid, based in Oud Gastel, centres its identity on the experience of light. On a work van, that identity needs to register at a glance. BlinkOut translated the brand into a purple and blue design for a Fiat Scudo, combining a flowing light-inspired graphic with the company name.

The large, enclosed side panels become the canvas. Colour continues around the rear doors, bringing the brand into view for traffic behind the van too. The tagline completes a coherent presentation of name, colour and imagery.

Designed around the Scudo

A van is shaped by sliding doors, handles and body lines. A wrap therefore needs a layout that works on the vehicle itself. On this Scudo, the name remains clearly readable while the light-inspired graphic continues across the panels.

The artwork was shared for checking before production. This is an opportunity to assess the position of the logo and lettering in relation to the vehicle’s actual proportions.

Why vehicle wrapping suits this application

Printed vehicle film brings colour and imagery to large areas of bodywork. Curved panels require conformable material: flat graphics and a full vehicle wrap place different demands on a film.

Preparation matters too. For this project, the vans were requested a working day before installation so they would be dry and at the right temperature. A clean body without wax-based washing products supports surface preparation. Care with the material, temperature and panel joins is part of a well-planned installation.

A work van becomes a brand presentation

The photographs show how the purple and blue design works from different angles. It gives the van its own character while keeping the company name prominent.
