The right information at the workstation
Work instruction & process boards
Display agreed work steps, inspection points and process information. BlinkOut supplies bespoke work instruction boards and process panels with permanent printing or suitable holders for documents you need to replace.
From a document to a visible overview
Present your work instruction for the place where it is used.
A sequence beside an assembly station, a check overview alongside a line or changeover information near a machine: users need to find and read the agreed information. Available space, viewing distance and the environment help determine the presentation.
You supply and check the process content. We provide the visual layout, production and agreed fixing solution. For changing information, holders or insert pockets may be suitable. These allow documents to be replaced without remaking the complete board.
Applications →
Clear instructions, with content agreed in advance.
For business workplaces
For organisations wanting to display their own instructions and process information. We match the presentation to the location and its users.
Based on your process
You supply the correct work steps, copy and images. Your organisation remains responsible for checking, approving and keeping the instructions current.
Permanent or replaceable information
We agree which parts are printed and which need to change. You approve the layout and specification before production.
Applications
A suitable presentation for your working arrangements.
From one permanent instruction to an overview with replaceable documents. We develop the design from content supplied and approved by your organisation.

Work steps and assembly
Present a supplied work sequence with images, numbers and short descriptions. The layout follows the steps established by your organisation.
- Photographs and illustrations from your process
- Numbering and readable text areas
- Dimensions matched to the workstation

Quality and inspection points
Give established inspection points a recognisable place. Use your own images and descriptions to show the approved reference.
- Reference images and inspection sequence
- Permanent print or replaceable documents
- Layout based on your inspection arrangements

Changeover and setting information
Bring your supplied changeover steps and setting information together. Different product or machine variants call for a layout that accommodates them.
- Steps by machine or product variant
- Document pockets where suitable
- Space for version and reference details

Maintenance and cleaning
Display your own maintenance and cleaning instructions. We match the material and finish to the location and cleaning conditions.
- Supplied maintenance points
- Your own cleaning sequence in view
- Dirt, moisture and cleaning discussed first

Logistics process information
Show the agreed sequence for receiving, packing or dispatch. Colour, imagery and copy are matched to your internal process.
- Receiving, packing and dispatch steps
- Information by workstation
- One consistent layout across zones

Document and information boards
Give current instruction sheets and summaries a consistent place. Suitable holders allow documents to be replaced under your own version-control arrangements.
- Insert pockets and document holders
- Bespoke sizes and orientation
- Permanent headings with replaceable content
Readability, content and use belong together.
Viewing distance and information
A display beside a machine needs different image and text sizes from a team wall board. We match the artwork to the location and the amount of supplied information.
Substrate and finish
Dirt, moisture, reflections and cleaning affect the material choice. A writable finish or magnet-receptive substrate can be discussed as separate properties.
Replacement and version control
Decide which information will change and who manages it. Holders can support replacement; your organisation remains responsible for correct, current content.

Frequently asked questions about work instruction boards.
Who writes and checks the work instruction?
Your organisation supplies the content and is responsible for its accuracy, completeness and approval. We provide design and production. You review all copy, images and steps before the board is made.
Can you use our existing instruction?
Yes. Supply the document and any source files, together with images you have the right to use. We review how to present the information clearly at the required size and which design work is needed.
Can we replace the instruction later?
Suitable document holders or insert pockets allow this. Permanent printing needs an updated print or panel. We discuss which sections will change regularly before agreeing the specification.
Can a board include several languages?
It can, where space and readability allow. Supply the approved language versions. We can also discuss separate panels or replaceable documents for each language.
Can the board be placed near a machine or in a damp area?
We assess materials, finish and fixings for the stated location. Tell us about moisture, dirt, heat, cleaning products and other conditions. Include any requirements your organisation sets for the board and its placement.
Is the surface writable or magnetic?
We agree these properties separately. A dry-wipe finish makes a suitable surface writable; magnets also require a magnet-receptive substrate. Not every specification combines both.
Can you make different versions for machines or locations?
Yes. A common design can use different supplied instructions. Identify the versions clearly and give quantities for each one. You check and approve every variant.
How do we keep the information current?
Your organisation sets its version-control arrangements and replaces outdated information. We can include space for a document code, version date or responsible person, based on your own requirements.
