AVT: three specialisms, one recognisable site

Triaflex façade signage brings clarity to AVT in Roosendaal.

AVT Car Electric, TruckXL and AVT Metaal each gain a distinct identity with tensioned printed banners in Triaflex frames.

The story behind this project

Finding the right specialist starts at the façade

AVT's site in Roosendaal brings together several technical specialisms. Its façade signage needs to distinguish between them while keeping a consistent overall appearance. Visitors should be able to recognise which business they are standing in front of, without the site becoming a collection of unrelated signs.

BlinkOut supplied printed banners in Triaflex frames for AVT Car Electric, TruckXL and AVT Metaal. Each sign features its own name, colours and services, while the square format and position on the façades create a recognisable whole. Arrows on the Car Electric and Metaal signs also connect the message to the entrance.

A tensioned banner with an understated frame

Triaflex combines a lightweight triangular aluminium profile with concealed joints. The rigid profile limits the number of mounting brackets required; fixings are selected to suit the banner size and façade. This creates a tidy structure with few visible components.

Against AVT’s dark cladding, the bright prints take centre stage. The frame gives the different businesses a consistent presentation without overpowering their individual colours.

A new frame where needed, a new banner where possible

The project involved more than repeating the same installation. AVT Metaal received a new frame and printed banner. At TruckXL, the frame already in place could take a new banner. The Car Electric sign was also part of the coordinated work.

This illustrates a practical benefit of this type of façade signage: the frame and print are separate components. When a message changes, the banner can be replaced without automatically replacing the entire structure. Its dimensions, tension and fixings still need to work together.

Smart-Fix: the detail behind the neat banner edge

The detail photograph shows the banner eyelet connected to the profile by a stainless steel tensioning spring. These Smart-Fix springs click into the profile groove and sit largely behind the banner edge. The print extends almost to the frame, leaving little visible gap.

The springs keep the banner under tension, while stainless steel suits outdoor use. A new identity or message? The print can be renewed separately. TruckXL put this benefit into practice by reusing its existing frame.

Individual identities within a consistent whole

The photographs show how the three signs work together along the row of façades. The names and specialisms remain distinct, with a consistent approach to presentation. Each business has room to tell its own story.
