The story behind this project

Recognition from the street to the door

For Basisschool Ziezo in Roosendaal, we translated the school identity into several elements around the building. A colourful logo on the façade identifies the school, while an information panel on the fence uses the same visual language.

Lettering on the glass carries the identity through to the entrance. The exterior signs and doors work together to welcome pupils, parents and visitors.

Shared colours on different surfaces

A façade sign and a glass door each need a different approach. Against the brickwork, the logo sits on a calm white background. The fence panel provides space for the school name, address and further information.

On the glass, separate letters, the logo and coloured lines leave more of the surface open. Repeating the colours and shapes keeps the design consistent while adapting it to the purpose of each position.

Window lettering with an open feel

Contour-cut film follows the outlines of lettering and graphics. The spaces between them remain transparent, combining recognition with the open character of a glass entrance.

Installation takes account of door handles, frames and the relationship between separate panes. Entrance lettering helps visitors find their way, while the coloured lines carry the identity across the glazing.

A coherent identity around the building

Façade signs, information and glass lettering create points of recognition on the route inside. The school name has a suitable role at each stage of the approach.
