Buildine: seamless photo wallpaper and a recognisable frontage

Historic photography indoors, white logo lettering outdoors.

Seamless wallpaper with historic street scenes and white roller-door logos give Buildine’s premises in Oud Gastel a distinctive identity.

The story behind this project

Character from the frontage to the interior

Two applications come together at Buildine in Oud Gastel. Outside, the white logo appears on grey roller doors; inside, large black-and-white photographs shape the corridor. Historic street scenes give the walls a distinctive character.

The project combined roller-door lettering with seamless photo wallpaper. The frontage provides a clear point of recognition, while the interior tells its own visual story.

A large image without separate wallpaper strips

Seamless photo wallpaper was used for the interior walls. Each wall image is prepared as one large piece, avoiding the need to divide photographic detail across a series of narrow wallpaper strips. Buildings, windows and perspective lines can continue visually across the scene.

The wallpaper used here is UV-printed and has a PVC coating. Dimensions, image cropping and wall preparation need to work together. A level, suitable surface and an appropriate adhesive are just as important as print quality.

White lettering on a profiled door

The Buildine logo on the roller doors uses white contour-cut cast vinyl. The grey surface gives the lettering a clear contrast. Individual cut letters avoid the need for a rectangular background.

A profiled door requires care when aligning and spacing the letters. Film and installation must suit the surface, with the door’s operation considered during preparation. Careful alignment keeps the logo readable across the door profiles.

Two applications, one distinctive building

Exterior lettering identifies the business from outside, while photo wallpaper gives the interior its own character. Both applications suit the scale of the premises and the available surfaces.

Want to give your business premises a distinctive identity? BlinkOut can help with wall imagery, image crops and exterior lettering, considering both the substrate and the scale of the space.
