Groenhuysen Weihoek: nature and privacy throughout the interior
Window film, door graphics and frosted glazing connect the different spaces.
Woodland window graphics, colourful door prints and frosted glass give Groenhuysen Weihoek a coordinated interior identity.
The story behind this project
Nature as a connecting theme
At Groenhuysen Weihoek in Roosendaal, natural imagery creates a visual connection throughout the interior. Birch trees, greenery and flowers appear across different glazed surfaces, linking windows, doors and connecting spaces.
Each application responds to the setting. A large window needs a different composition from a narrow door or a glass balustrade, while the overall visual approach remains consistent.
Printed frosted film on glass
The glazing uses full-colour printed frosted film. The print supplies the image, while the frosted base limits a direct view through the covered areas. Any glass left clear by the design retains its view.
Accurate positioning across individual panes matters. Tree trunks and patterns need to work with the frames and glazing divisions. Careful measurement avoids placing a significant part of the image on an awkward junction.

Giving existing doors their own character
Printed door graphics add colour and an illustrated panel effect to the existing doors. The image creates visual depth while the door and its fittings retain their function. A matt finish gives the printed door film a subdued appearance.
Frosted areas on the glass balustrade provide a calmer appearance between its metal profiles. Each surface has its own treatment within the same interior approach.
One approach across several surfaces
The combination of applications gives the project its coherence. Glass can contribute atmosphere and screening, while a different finish gives an existing door a new appearance. The starting point is the space and the people using it.
