AXI Belgium and the Netherlands
Restyling in a new brand identity
Restyling AXI in Belgium and the Netherlands
AXI is an independent ICT partner in the Netherlands and Belgium with a new brand identity. BLINKOUT was asked to introduce it at three locations across both countries. Numerous interior and exterior elements were updated, showcasing the new logo and colours through different forms of signage.

To complete the Willebroek site, various wayfinding signs were replaced, making the new brand identity immediately apparent to visitors.

A new brand identity translated into signage
You might think the hardest part is over once a new identity has been designed, but many steps remain, from updating the website, email signatures and stationery to changing visual elements within the business itself. Logos often appear throughout interior and exterior signage. A clear example is the building signage on the building and wayfinding signs around the site, but the logo may also appear in sandblast-effect film on office windows. In short, there is plenty to change.

Breda, Willebroek and Ghent
BLINKOUT replaced various advertising elements at the Breda, Willebroek and Ghent locations. We started in Ghent, or more precisely Sint-Denijs-Westrem nearby. This was a small first step, replacing only the router-cut letters on the counter, using purple acrylic letters 8 millimetres thick.
The Willebroek project was larger, including two boxes fitted with acrylic letters. These brought the reception and coffee area into the new identity. Several meeting-room windows also received new sandblast-effect film with the new logo cut out, combining privacy with visible branding. Once the interior was refreshed, our installers moved outside, fitting exterior windows with one-way vision film, displaying the new logo outside while allowing everyone inside to enjoy the view.

In Breda, we installed similar interior signage, including acrylic letters and sandblast-effect film, but a much larger challenge awaited outside. After updating the wayfinding and entrance canopy, our installers moved higher: facade signage had to be fitted at a height of 30 metres. A crane lifted large painted corner panels measuring 450 by 200 centimetres into place. These illuminated panels now display the new brand identity day and night!
All three locations now fully reflect the new brand identity, completing this comprehensive project with an excellent result.
