Relocating illuminated built-up letters for Luminaid

Luminaid moved to new premises while its existing illuminated built-up letters were still in excellent condition. However, the new dark facade would absorb much of the backlighting, as black reflects little light.

To preserve the lighting effect, BlinkOut made white Dibond backing shapes matching the existing letters. This reflective background keeps the illumination clearly visible against the dark facade.

The letters were carefully removed from the old facade. The white backing shapes were then fitted behind them using stand-offs, before the complete signage was installed and reconnected at the new location.

This allowed the existing letters to be reused sustainably while retaining their striking illuminated appearance.
