The story behind this project
A considered first impression for the clinic
Huidkliniek Dreamskin wanted a fresh exterior presentation to replace its existing sign. The name and logo needed a clear presence with a look suited to the clinic.
We combined a long black façade panel with separate acrylic letters and a circular lightbox beside it. The warm letter colour contrasts with the dark background. The round HD logo creates a separate point of recognition along the street.
Acrylic brings depth to the lettering
The name and border are made from eight-millimetre routed acrylic. Their thickness creates a visible relief against the background. A warm grey-beige shade keeps the appearance restrained.
The letters and border sections sit on a black aluminium composite panel. This flat background brings the individual elements together above the shopfront. The dark base, spacing and dimensional material give the name a carefully balanced position on the building.
A circular lightbox along the approach
The main panel addresses visitors facing the building. The circular lightbox projects at a right angle to the façade, adding a point of recognition for people passing along it. The simple HD logo remains central.
A lightbox combines a casing, a translucent face and internal lighting. Size, position and the balance between light and dark areas shape the result. Here, the circular format turns the logo into a compact projecting sign.
Two applications with one identity
The main panel and circular lightbox share a restrained colour scheme. The full name and compact logo complement each other across different viewing directions.
