XXXL building graphics
Announcing the opening of Tribes offices on a grand scale.
BlinkOut announced the new workspaces with window graphics measuring 8 × 7 metres. Each image shows founder Eduard Schaepman in the setting of the tribe associated with that location.
The brief
Tribes offers inspiring workspaces for like-minded professionals at various locations. Each branch is associated with a tribe: the Kazakh in Rotterdam, the Maori in The Hague, the Secoya in Utrecht and the Sami in Brussels. The brief was to showcase these tribes on a grand scale at each location.
Our role in this project
BlinkOut printed, finished and installed the window graphics at the different locations. As the visuals were temporary, we also handled their removal later.
The method
The visuals covered approximately 55 m². As the windows and frames differed at each location, we used Onyx RIP software to divide each design into separate prints. A correctly sized sticker was produced for every pane and frame. During installation, these pieces were assembled like a large puzzle into a single image.

The photographs were specially edited in Photoshop to make it appear that CEO Eduard Schaepman was in the setting of the relevant tribe.
The designs contained specially edited photographs with extensive detail. Each 55 m2 large-format print had to be applied across different windows and frames, making seamless alignment challenging. Different visuals were installed at different locations.
