Sustainable interiors & decoration

Show your brand. Soften the sound.

Meeting areas, receptions and open offices need more than good looks. We consider where absorption can help and turn it into a graphic, logo or divider.

Materials & specification

Where is the sustainability benefit?

Recycled fibres replace new feedstock in the felt or acoustic filling. The complete construction also matters: a removable panel with replaceable fabric is easier to update than fully bonded material.

Cross-sections of acoustic panels with printed fabric and absorbing filling
Construction
Felt or a frame with absorbing filling and a printed face.
Acoustics
Performance depends on area, thickness, installation and the room. Absorption is not sound insulation.
Mounting
Wall-mounted or installed in a suitable freestanding structure.

Materials & specification

The material makes the difference.

Recycled PET fibres and denim gain a new role in your interior. Explore their material properties and opportunities for reuse.

Positive material properties at a glance. Each percentage relates to the named substrate or material layer.

PET felt made with recycled fibres

Composition
This 9 mm PET felt option uses entirely recycled polyester fibres, including fibres from used PET bottles. The fibre percentage applies before printing and fixing.
Suitable use
For cut-to-shape wall panels and graphics, as in the Vermetten application. Choose removable fixings where relocation or reuse matters.

Substrate

Recycled PET fibres

100% recycled materialFibre base of this 9 mm PET felt option

  • Recycled PET fibres

Used PET bottles are repurposed as fibres for this felt board.

  • Colour without full-surface printing

Through-coloured felt can be used directly as a logo, letter or pattern.

  • Relocatable design

Removable fixings allow reuse in another location.

Recycled-denim filling

Composition
In an AcousticPro version, 90% of the absorbing material consists of cotton fibres from recycled denim. The frame, fabric and other components are outside this percentage.
Suitable use
For acoustic graphic panels and suitable room or desk dividers. Absorption depends on thickness, area and installation.

  • A second use for textiles

The absorbent filling contains 90% cotton fibres from recycled jeans.

  • Keep the filling

A compatible system lets you update only the visible fabric.

  • Long-term interior use

Separate filling and supporting components can serve through several print changes.

From material selection to its next destination.

Place absorption where it helps

Match panel coverage to the room and troublesome reflections. Adding material without an acoustic plan does not automatically improve the result.

Keep what still works

A new image need not require new filling and supports. A suitable system lets you replace only the visible fabric.

Keep fibres and fixings accessible

Screws, clips or a suitable removable system support dismantling. Adhesive, printing and contamination affect reuse and recycling options.

Frequently asked questions

How can I combine acoustics with a sustainable look?

Recycled PET fibres or absorbing filling made from recycled denim fibres give existing feedstock a new use. Combine that material choice with your branding, a pattern or a photographic print for a recognisable interior.

What makes PET felt interesting for my interior?

The 9 mm PET felt base described is made from recycled PET fibres. The material can be cut into shapes, such as a logo, wall pattern or decorative panel. This brings material reuse and design together.

What gives the denim filling its sustainability character?

The absorbing filling described contains 90% recycled denim fibres. Textile fibres gain a new purpose behind a printed fabric. The percentage concerns the filling; the frame, fabric and fixings have their own material construction.

Can PET felt be cut into my logo?

Yes. PET felt offers possibilities for cut-out letters, logos and custom shapes. We consider the design, dimensions and placement together, so the result suits your space and brand.

Can I use a photograph or custom design on an acoustic panel?

Yes. An acoustic textile frame can carry a photographic print, illustration or brand graphic. The absorbing filling sits behind the fabric, combining a functional wall solution with a personal image.

Can I replace the graphic later and keep the panel?

A version with separately replaceable printed fabric lets you refresh the image while retaining the suitable frame and filling. This is useful for new branding or a different interior, keeping usable components in service.

Where can I use acoustic branding?

Consider meeting rooms, workspaces and reception areas. We coordinate the material, coverage and placement with the space, making the acoustic solution a recognisable part of the interior.
